Lynne Weare is a Toronto-based designer and tailor. From an early age, Lynne has been drawn to sewing and design, a passion which has blossomed into a refined expertise. Lynne’s aesthetic can be described as elegant minimalism, reflected in her work as a tailor where the fusion of precision, clean lines and meticulous craftsmanship means every stitch serves purpose in achieving a harmonious and refined result.
Studying fashion and design, Lynne honed her skills, going beyond the basics to master hand-embroidery, textile design and innovative draping skills. In the early stages of her career, Lynne quickly recognized a market void between designers and stylists. She filled it by crafting bespoke garments, featured in prestigious publications like V Magazine, ELLE and FASHION. Subsequently Lynne launched WYNN, an upscale gender-fluid basics label that celebrates unique shapes and cuts. Lynne’s extensive skill set also extends to on-set tailoring for clients such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Holt Renfrew, Joe Fresh, Lululemon, Uniqlo and Mackage.
