The imaginative world of dance led Finland-born, Toronto-based Jukka Suutari, to his passion of hair and makeup design. Nurturing his talents, Jukka became a hairstylist for performance and theatre productions, eventually opening a flourishing hair studio in Finland, and later pursuing his dreams in Canada. Merging a profound understanding of hair with makeup artistry, Jukka’s craftsmanship is influenced by his vast travels and the beauty and balance of nature. 

His expert hand has graced international projects spanning fashion, film and television, where he excels in crafting looks alongside high-profile clients such as Canada’s Drag Race, The Great Canadian Baking Show, MAC Cosmetics and Tiffany & Co. Jukka’s diverse technical skill has also resulted in coveted editorial placements. His zen-like demeanour and ability to create a serene on-set environment has garnered accolades from celebrity clients including Joseph Fiennes, Sarain Fox, Brad Goreski, Elle Macpherson, Annie Murphy, Aisha Tyler and Zhang Ziyi.
