Splitting her time between Toronto, Vancouver and LA, fashion stylist Jess Mori draws artistic inspiration from the balancing act of merging different styles, textures and proportions to create unexpected cohesion. Before venturing into the realm of fashion, Jess was an advertising copywriter, where she learned the nuances of marketing and branding. She then transitioned to styling, where she couples her ability to translate a client’s brand through fashion, creating memorable looks for the screen, stage and print.
When working with new clients, Jess takes her time to understand how fashion will play a role in their narrative, ensuring she is creating looks that are in some way an extension of who they are, and not merely costumes. Her commercial client roster includes HBO, Netflix, Nike, Converse, Adidas, Sephora, Cadillac and Nobis. While her editorial work has been featured in Nylon, LA Times, The Fader and Wonderland Magazine.
