Devin Jones is a Toronto-based prop and set designer. Devin began his journey in feature films, where he worked in lighting and production before tapping into an innate skill for craft and design in the art department. He views his work as an intersection of engineering and artistry, personifying characters and narrative through storytelling. Devin successfully transferred this intent into photo and editorial projects, creating and producing impactful images authentic to each client’s goals. 

Devin’s nostalgia of a small-town childhood now plays off his love of big city energy, creating a running theme throughout his work. Mixing dichotomies allows for visual and spatial interest in his images, blending old and new, natural with fabricated and strange with familiar. Devin’s film work has won accolades at SXSW and TIFF. His TV commercial clients include Canada Goose, Xbox, Salt & Stone and Vileda, as well as advertising campaigns for Holt Renfrew.
