Cindy Fung’s journey into the culinary world began at the tender age of four, experimenting with ingredients in her family kitchen. This early spark of curiosity set her on a self-taught path, one that would ultimately lead her to the Hong Kong-based kitchen of Alvin Leung, MasterChef Canada’s celebrated “Demon Chef.” Under his mentorship at the two-Michelin-starred Bo Innovation, Cindy sharpened her skills and deepened her understanding of culinary artistry.
In 2014, Cindy’s passion for storytelling and flavours came to life with the creation of Preserve Indulgence, an umami-driven dining experience she orchestrated from her condo. This propensity for creativity and love for shared moments, laid the foundation for what would become Cindy’s most ambitious endeavor, Preserve Indulgence. Initially conceived as a secret supper club, this inclusive passion project evolved into a multifaceted lifestyle, events, and hospitality group. Through Caviar Citizen, Cindy’s vision of creating memorable culinary experiences found its truest expression.
